AFN Creating and Claiming a Culture

AFN persons have, often, a gross misunderstanding of what an Indigenous person is; one has to be raised in a remote, small community that ‘incubates’ the culture.  Everyone is supposed to be understanding about Indigenous life as these people understand it.  Indigenous people never stayed in one place, claiming territory was a death sentence.  Food and other resources change with the climate.Disease killed most who stayed in one place.  There is no remote.

Culture isn’t entertainment.  Indigenous people travelled, a lot. They met with others often and most was shared. New people were a cause for celebration, not wars.

There is much more to write.  I would always mention to an AFN that their entire culture is, now, foreign.  Then, rather than asking ‘the creator’ anything, an AFN person should take a long walk.
