BC AFN giving advice, but it’s moot as AFN claims are based on territoriality and barring Indigenous people, especially AFN banded Aboriginals, from their lands and resources. A federally administered direct benefit to each Aboriginal is the only option left, but this is in the way of AFN greed and claims and payments from the crowns, especially provinces and the companies the AFN and provinces claim.
‘Sacred land’ is just another wording for an AFN land claim. Often, especially in recent migration and colonization areas like BC, the ancestors AFN is claiming are not tested or fail Indigenous claims that range closer to 15,000 years in many cases. Each Aboriginal artifact’s DNA must be tested to see if they are Indigenous to allow proper claims, but, often, the AFN will not allow these tests.
